Hometown Worries
Where I grew up, hurricanes were a massive deal. The hurricane of 1944 took out most of the Atlantic City boardwalk- our biggest and oldest claim to fame. Back then it stretched around the East coast of the island but some of it never was replaced.
Irene really scares me. My family is evacuating their homes but I am most concerned about the boardwalk. I will be home in October to run on the boards, please still be there!
