Levi's Commuter Secret
While interviewing the designer of the Levi’s Commuter Series yesterday, she took me to see her bike which was housed in a room across the Plaza from Levi’s HQ where the Levi’s employees keep their bikes. I would have never known this was there!

Something for Myself
Recently I discovered how cathartic going to the gym can be. In all honesty, I joined out of boredom and due to the fact that this boredom has caused me to put on a few pounds since coming to SF. It is my favorite part of the day. It is the time that I get to spend for myself and it has motivated me to eat healthy and manage my time more wisely.

All in a week's work
Sometimes looking back on a busy week of mini and major tasks helps you appreciate Friday even more. I am a list maker, and as technological as I am, I love old fashioned date books, pens, highlighters and Post-Its (gosh, do I love Post-Its).

Here, There & Everywhere
Whenever someone visits the offices at Levi’s Plaza, they marvel in the amount of jeans that litter the walkways. There are clothing racks bursting with denim tucked in every corner and crevice, in hallways, between desks, on my way to the kitchen. Surprisingly, this never struck me as abnormal!

Nothing is as it Seems
Just hanging out in a sea of naked mannequins. They are some of the nicest unpeople I have met here at Levi’s. The real people at Levi’s liked my look so much that they featured me on the Facebook page. Like away!

Fruit of Our Loom
This denim loom from the Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC sits in the lobby at Levi’s Plaza. The Cone Mills ran a red thread through the denim they made for the 501s, or “XX”s at the time, to distinguish Levi’s denim from all others creating our red selvedge. This loom was used from about 1917 until the 1970s.

At Levi’s Plaza, there is an exhibit of some recent Levi’s fashion worn in movies and tv. Although I see tons of Levi’s jackets and jeans in Glee, I can’t seem to pick out these outfits worn by Kurt and Quinn. Oh well, guess I’m going to have to watch the whole series again.
