Extreme Close-Up!
I am in love with my new shirt from Levi’s. The shape is billowy and it’s soft- but I am in complete love with the pattern. It’s in stores right now, not online quite yet!

This is why I was Glee before Glee was Glee. Because in college I sang duets with myself. Excuse my lack of solo choreography.

Fest' Envy
Really enjoying the photos from Glastonbury- I think I need to plan my trip there for next year. Check out Mister Newton’s photos for Harper’s Bazaar… I spy Shape What’s To Come ambassador Kristin Knox in picture 9.
My wellies are already packed.

Strike a Pose
This is our Social Media intern Vivian. I had to snap this photo on my phone to upload to the Levi’s Pose, a photo-sharing application on iPhone for fashionistas.
Viv took her dad’s old 501’s and made them summer-ready. Don’t you just love the big necklace?

Snip Snip
It’s the little victories that keep me going. A while back I made a decision to start saving money, but I realized I couldn’t save money until I eliminated unneccessary bills. So I have committed to paying off my credit cards, which means some sacrifices here and there. Over the weekend I got to cut up two of my cards, having paid them off completely.
Seeing this progress and...

My Impossible Reality
What is one thing I have accomplished that I never thought I could do?
One would think that I would say “winning The Levi’s Girl contest”, but I knew when I was making the video that I would win. I might be psychic bc I’m not usually very confident.
The only time I faced a task with fear and complete disbelief that I could do it, was in 2008 when I needed to loose...

Minimalist Workspace
I have been working from home more often- finding it easier to write at home and taking advantage of PhotoShop. It’s no secret that I have minimalistic taste when decorating, especially my workspace- I like to keep my mind clear of clutter.
I did want to hang some pictures at my workspace to keep inspiration high and to add a little color. I purchased some baker’s twine and wrapped...

I was Glee before Glee was Glee
Found this photo yesterday from the night Rent came out on DVD (at midnight). I just started watching Glee and realized that one of the writers probably went to my high school and followed me around.

Congrats Elissa Rose!!
Elissa Rose, the winner of our previous Shape What’s To Come Thought Collage, has taken on an unbelievable challenge- learning to draw with her left hand. See what she has to say about the experience:
I was looking for a new goal, something long-term and really difficult. What I got was a hidden ability that I didn’t know I had. It still shakes me up when I look at the...

Jack-on-the-Wall
I had two problems last week- nothing on the walls of my apartment still after three months, and nothing to lay on at the park. I was able to fix both of those problems over the weekend at the Marc Jacobs store. The entire store was checking-in on me to make sure I meant to pick up the Union Jack and not the American flag… if they only knew. It’s a sprawling haven while sunbathing,...

Anti-Summer
This is more like my Look of the Month. I can’t stop wearing these sandals- you can tell by the scuffed leather and the gnarly tan I’m rocking underneath. Since a San Francisco summer is one that I’m not quite used to (although I admittedly love sweaters all year round) I have opted for a black pedicure. So rebellious, so anti-summer.

Secret Elevator
I walk past this random elevator in the lobby of Levi’s Plaza, and it finally dawned on me yesterday that I have no idea where it leads. I have my theories, most of which involve gold coins filled with chocolate or the smoke monster.

World's Oldest Levi's
Yesterday, those working at Levi’s Plaza were invited to a presentation by LS&Co historian, Lynn Downey, who showed us some amazing pieces from the archive. I was most excited to feast my eyes on the oldest pair of Levi’s. These 501’s (back then they were called XX’s) are worth more than $150,000. crikey!

Levi's Style at Girls Who Rock
I loved this look at Girls Who Rock over the weekend. It was 100 degreed in NYC but she was so cool in vintage Levi’s, embellished sleeves and cut-off cowboy boots.

Dress Up with Eddy
Later this week I am attending the Girls Who Rock concert, organized with the help of Shape What’s To Come social change ambassador Tammy Tibbetts. I put together this outfit for one of the performing artists, Eddy, who loved to wear skinny jeans and flats when she performs. Check out Eddy’s video Need, the first music video filmed on an iPad2.

What would you say to yourself?
When Cassie Boorn was graduating from college, she asked the women in her life for words of wisdom. Although she was looking for career advice, Cassie found these women telling her what they wished they had been told in their early twenties. This inspired Cassie to start a the 20 Something Letters project where women share a letter written to their 20 year-old self.
